It is midsummer and we are enjoying the summer, we tend to be more relaxed and at ease when the sun is out. But summer is also a good time to mix it up. Try new things and step out of your comfort zone.
Getting out of our comfort zone can be scary. It is often the fear of failure that prevents us from taking risks.
Because whats wrong with staying where we are? We mean, you’re comfortable, so you must be happy? If only it worked out that way. Unfortunately, the longer we stay within our comfort zone, the less happy we tend to be.
While you don't want to play it too safe, you also don't want to throw yourself thoughtlessly into danger. Instead, try mindfully taking the steps you need to build strength and confidence
But Can you remember the last time you tried something new?
Now, we’re not saying you have to jump out of a plane just to have a new experience (al though this could be fun ;) ). Trying something new doest have to be a big thing, you can start small with trying out a new recipe or a new activity.
The possibilities are absolutely endless when it comes to trying something new, and whether it’s a big or small leap outside your comfort zone you’ll never know, you might find your new favorite dish or a brand new hobby!
