Many of us have been, or maybe are, in a situation where we feel like something in our life isn’t quite right anymore. We want to change something or would like something new to come into our lives. But often, we expect that change or new thing to find us while we keep doing what we’ve always done.
Sometimes we need to create space first, before we welcome new things in our life.
We can create this by removing the things that no longer serve us – bad habits, clutter, or maybe even unhealthy relationships. This way we create the space for new energy, new people, new opportunities.
So this week we invite you to create space in your life to welcome the new and see what happens. Use this 3 tips to declutter your mind and create space for the new!
Keep a journal
You don’t need to keep everything stored in your brain. Start with writing down your thoughts. It can help you clear your mind and serve as a canvas to which we can spill our thoughts into. If you find it hard to write, start by writing down your worries and concerns and see if you can find small solutions for them.
Take a media break
On a daily basis we get so much information send to us, through not only social media, but also blogs, magazines, tv and so on! The problem with too much information is that it can clog up our mind. Limit the amount of information that comes into your life by limiting the time you spend on your phone and try to read a book instead!
Take some time to practice meditation and build it into your daily routine to help you declutter your mind. This will help you declutter your mind, it will take your mind to a place where clarity is natural and effortless. When you meditate, you’ll help reduce confusion by getting clear on your priorities.
